The fire was reported at 157 E. Main Street, Frostburg. The building involved is a two story masonry and wood framed commercial structure. The first floor was known as “The Dawg House” formally Duncan’s Bar & Grill. The two apartments on the second floor were occupied at the time of the fire. Fire departments responded from Allegany, Garrett and Mineral County West Virginia. The fire was placed under control by Incident Command after one hour. The interior of the first floor business has been determined to be the origin of the fire. The cause has been determined to be accidental as a result of overloaded wiring running kitchen appliances.
