FRUSTRATION. I dont normally vent my frustration here but im so sick of the bullshit laws in this country. Currently paying approximately $3000 a month in child support for my two kids. Then I do my tax and find out of the just under $7000 I was to get back $6500 will be sent to my x wifes as apparently I had earnt too much. So now my son who works two jobs and is 16 gets $1875 a month which would be fine but he doesnt really see much of that money as he buys most of the things he needs himself. So thats about $460 a week for him. Sorry to the pensioners in Australia if only you could get this much. Then theres my 7 year old daughter who will get 1275 a month. Aprox $320 a week. Not bad at 7. Of course I want the best for my kids but this is out of control. I work 28 days straight 12 hrs a day 84 hrs a week 326 hrs a month. End of both relationships I gave up the house. How am I to rebuild my life. After leaving with nothing. This country doesnt help people who are working their guts out n having a go. First of all yes I make good money but tax is almost half. Then maintenance I end up with maybe a third if im lucky. Its just not right. Then child support agency tells me if I dont pay enough they will bill me but if I over pay I wont get that back. Thats fair. Its no wonder men are frustrated and feel powerless. Not everyone is a deadbeat dad.
