Wilhelmsen Foundation to international students in Norwegian Business School. Up to two students might receive the scholarship in each year which is valued of NOK 75.000,- per semester each student. The closing date of the scholarship program application is in 1st March 2015. Scholarship Provider These scholarships are provided by A. Wilhelmsen Foundation. Destination Study These scholarships are tenable in Norway. Country of Applicants The scholarships open for countries outside Norway residents. The main activity areas of Wilhelmsen is Baltic region, Russia, Portugal and Caribbean. The candidates coming from these regions especially encouraged. Level/Degree The scholarships are available to pursue BBA and MSc program and awarded in Business Administration area and MSc program available in the Norwegian Business School. Eligibility To be eligible, candidate must first apply an admission for the program they are qualified for before apply the scholarship. Master’s degree (or equal) at molecular biology/ informatics is essential for applicants of this fellowship. Besides, a formal competence equal to full semester at least in university level courses in topics of informatics, mathematic or statistic which include one university level course for programming also required for this fellowship. The closing date of application is in 27th January 2015. Fellowship Provider The fellowship provided by Centre for Cancer Biomedicine (CCB), University of Oslo. Destination Study This PhD research fellowship can be taken in Norway. Country of Applicants This PhD research fellowship open for Norwegian and international candidates. Level/Degree The fellowship available to pursue PhD research program in biomedical informatics at Biomedical Informatics research Group (BMI) of the Department of Informatics (IFI), University of Oslo. Eligibility -Hold a Master’s degree (or equal) at molecular biology/ informatics. -Required formal competence equal to full semester at least of university level in topics of informatics, mathematic or statistic include a university level course at least for programming. -Further requirement, formal competence equal to full year of university level courses at least in topics of cell biology, molecular biology, molecular genetics/ cancer biology, or Master’s degree at bioinformatics. -Any experience with cancer biology research will be emphasized for evaluation. -Either Python or R documented knowledge preferred. -An admission to PhD program in Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Fellowship Value The fellowship will be valued with pay grade at 50 – 57(NOK 429 700 – 482 800 each year).
