FT: Brazil 1-7 Germany Before I get to the game analysis, lets all put our hands together for Miroslav Klose who broke Ronaldo de Limas record as the all-time World Cup top scorer with 16 goals. Now, lets discuss what was Brazils worst match in football history. What I was expecting before the game was a Brazil that would play counterattacking football. I was expecting Brazil to keep four or five players defense and let the Germans enjoy their possession and then strike when the Germans were off-guard. Unfortunately, the complete opposite happened. Brazilian defense was in complete disarray, which lead to most - if not all - of Germanys goals. MOTM was definitely Kroos. I cant imagine Germany winning the way they did without his brilliance. Now, for all of those who used to call Neymar overrated, this match was your answer. The fact that Brazil played worse than Tahiti (no offense to either of those) without Silva and Neymar shows how vital both of those are and why they are both so highly rated. Brazils World Cup dreams might be shattered this year, but theres always a next time (although Lebanon will probably win the next World Cup). As for now, Ill be supporting Argentina for the rest of the tournament (and, of course, Brazil to come in third). And last but not least, congratulations to Germany.
