FULLY FUNDED OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THE GRADUATE SCHOOL AT NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY Education is vital to a progressive society. NC State realizes the importance of creating opportunities, to producing innovative research with a global prospective to solve real-world problems, and cultivating future scholars to help make our lives more productive and meaningful. Transforming graduate education is what we do. And, we do it well. I invite you to help share NC States vision with prospective students interested in creating change and championing research that is inter-disciplinary and cutting edge. The Graduate School will host its Visit NC State Program on October 26-28, 2014. The application deadline is September 19, 2014, at 12 noon. Applicants will be notified of decisions on September 30, 2014. All supplemental documents (resume/CV, unofficial transcript/s, and faculty letter of recommendation) are due by the deadline. Supplemental documents should be electronically sent to the Program Coordinator, Brett A. Locklear, at [email protected]. Failure to submit all required documentation will result in your denial to participate in the program. Eligibility The Visit NC State Program is designed to recruit students in their sophomore through senior year in college, an enrolled Masters student, or an interested post-baccalaureate. Additionally, the program is an outreach effort targeted towards underrepresented groups, underrepresented populations in a field of study, and first generation students, but the program is open to any prospective graduate student interested in a graduate program at NC State. All students must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents. Consideration for international students currently enrolled in a domestic university within the continental US may be considered. Questions and Contact For additional information, contact Brett A.
