FULNESS OF TIME. Everything has got its proper time, when beauty - TopicsExpress

FULNESS OF TIME. Everything has got its proper time, when beauty and radiance becomes undeniable. Anything that comes premature is characterized by imperfection. And each one of us will have to choose between letting it mature or monstrous, depending on the amount of time we are ready to afford or invest. But if God is in it, then it has to run its full course. He just won’t compromise the issue of timing for anything, and He alone knows the best time for everything. What mostly bothers us all, however, is the fact that we humans read the time chronologically. We think in terms of numbers, years, age, and its attending effects or general expectations; whereas, God seems to be more particular about the perfect timing. In that same encounter with Zacharias, the Lord expresses some of the reasons He doesn’t sentimentally consider our pains, our tears, our sorrow, the shame, the reproach, the mockery, the persecution, and the host of other things we suffer as a result of the “delay”. He plainly tells Zacharias: “…My words…will be fulfilled in their own time.” (Luke 1:20). That is it friends. God word has a time set for its fulfillment. That is what the Lord is waiting for! May that His set time for you not be prolonged any further in Jesus name. The Lord says to him: “…You will have joy and gladness…at his birth. (V.14). The Lord knows when your joy is yet to be full. He understands all your effort at acting to be happy. He sees how you have to always summon courage as though all is well. He notices all you are doing not to betray your emotion or portray weakness. He knows all the laughter you do in hope and the rejoicing you do in faith. So, He promises that the real thing is coming, when you will have real, wholesome and complete joy and gladness. The other reason why the time has got to be right is stated in the 15th verse: “For he will be great in the sight of the Lord…” Let me encourage you here not to allow yourself to be pushed by people’s opinion, societal pressure or any other narrow consideration. What is right or great in the sight of men might not be in the sight of God. The Lord seems to take His time in some of our cases, especially when He is up to something great. Whenever He appears to be coming late, He is actually coming great. It could be painful now, but friends, don’t choose the ordinary when the Lord is bringing you extraordinary; don’t go for the common when He has uncommon plan for you; to merely stand when He wants you to be outstanding; don’t just join the record when He desires you break it. What is coming for you is unusual, unparalleled, unprecedented, and all you are experiencing is not a delay. You are only waiting for the right time, and that your right time has come now in Jesus name. Prayer: Dear Father, I thank You because what I am going through is not a delay, but you wanting the right time and the best for me. I declare by faith that the set and the fullness of time has come for my manifestation. My joy and gladness shall be full. Something great in the sight of God is coming out of my life and situation in Jesus name. Amen. (Kindly share the daily Empowerment Devotional)
