Famous U.S. Scots include Neil Armstrong, first man to walk on the moon, and Alexander Graham Bell inventor of the telephone Famous U.S. Scottish names include the FBI, the California Highway Patrol, Encyclopdia Brittanica, American Express, West Point Military Academy and the US Marines. 34 American states have thier own tartan as do over 630 American companies, cities, military organizations, fire departments, police, schools and univercities, Highland Games, sports teams, private individuals, and a diverse range of other organizations.
