FUNDING OPPORTUNITY for Chinese or Taiwanese Studies: The Taiwan Fellowship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (administered by the Center for Chinese Studies) is aimed at foreign scholars of the humanities, social sciences and the fields of Chinese or Taiwanese Studies, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, post-doctoral researchers, doctoral candidates, doctoral program students and researchers at overseas universities and academic institutes, who wish to carry out research in Taiwan for periods between three months and one year. Assistance provided includes a monthly stipend, assistance with research materials, liaison with scholars and institutions in Taiwan, use of CCS and National Central Library facilities, and a direct round-trip economy-class ticket taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw
