FUNNY adventure this morning. After making a delivery to Richmond Emergency Food in Richmond, CA, my White Pram ony Express run for the day, I had my friend Robert there open the bathroom, went in and used it...and COULD NOT GET OUT! The old turn-lock in the knob just went round and round, remaining LOCKED! And it was in a somewhat out-of-the-way corner of the atrium courtyard there (the food program is in a church), where no one would hear my shouts or knocks from inside! I resolved to kick the door down, like the detectives on TV! Id tried everything else! So I pushed, and then kicked, as hard as I could! Easier said than done...or finallelse they make MUCH flimsier doors over in England! Well, finally I heard a voice shouting, Whats going on in there!! and HAPPILY, I shouted back, I CANT GET OUT!!! Then there was a sound of a key being inserted. But the key was in the upper, dead-bolt lock, the one Robert had opened earlier. And my impression was, it was the LOWER lock that was broken, and I wasnt even sure there was a keyhole for it. Well, it took a minute or two, and I really dont know how it happened, but finally the door sprung open and we all had a good laugh! Of course, it makes a great story! Much better than, He died there in that bathroom and they found his bones, etc... :-) Thanks for listening! :-)
