FW: Theft of Artwork from English Church. "...for those who frequent hoodoo/botannicas, gothic shops etc, three nationally important images on saints on oak dating from the 15th century have been hacked from a rood screen that is in a church in Devon UK. The images are of St Victor, St Margaret and a third unidentified female saint. The rood screen of this church was the most complete and the only one to survive intact after the Reformation. It is a part of our national history and a loss to the Devon community. The way they have been taken looks like a theft to order, and is most likely destined for the hoodoo, Santeria, and assc market, or the gothic/vampire decor market. Please take the time to look at the news report so that you will recognise the images if you see them.
