The 2014 election was the first election in 50 years without the critical protections from the Voting Rights Act. And what happened? Voter suppression laws were at an all-time high and voter turnout was the worst its been in 72 years. It’s completely unacceptable. We should be making it easier to vote, not more restrictive.
