FYI - we are getting lots of 000 calls for smoke sightings, many of which turn out to be left over smoke from the fires or something other benign issue. We have to respond quickly to all calls, and obviously lights and sirens does cause concern for residents. Please rest assured that of something develops it will be stomped on, and RFS and Fire and Rescue will do everything possible to warn residents should a real danger develop. On the plus side, all this vigilance is helping to keep us all safe!
