FYI BASEBALL LEAGUE INFO Hi Everyone, I wanted to touch base with everyone in regards to a couple of things for the upcoming season: 1. I have had to cancel the Team Captain’s Meeting on Wednesday April 2. The new Team Captain’s meeting is Saturday April 5 at 11:00am. Team Captain or a representative from the team must be there. 2. VERY IMPORTANT: Registration forms with payment MUST be submitted by Wednesday April 2. NO EXCEPTIONS! Forms are available at the Sonora Community Centre. If you would like an electronic copy, please let me know and I will send one to you via e-mail. 3. League schedules will be handed out at the team captain’s meeting so if I don’t have your registration form by Wednesday April 2, your team will not be put on the schedule. 4. Games will be begin MONDAY APRIL 7 at 6:00pm 5. Reminder: We will be switching to SPN to sanction our league this year. Please do not put your team up on the NSA website. I will be sending out how to put up your roster on SPN shortly. 6. Team members that are under the age of 19 will have to have a waiver signed by their parents this year. I will be sending that out shortly as well as having copies at the Team Captains meeting. 7. PLAYOFFS are scheduled for SUNDAY JUNE 8. This is the only weekend date that is available. Please start making arrangements now. 8. I have had some requests regarding scheduling. Please know I will do my best in responding to requests but I can’t promise anything. 9. I have added a Slo-Pitch League onto the Town of Osoyoos website. I will post important dates, schedules and any other pertinent information on there. The address is osoyoos.ca . Click on the Community tab at the top and then go down to Recreation Programs. You will find the link to the Slo-Pitch page there.
