FYI: I just want folks to be aware and not fall for every little cry for help. I called Farmers Electric Cooperative and they follow the cold weather rule for their regular pay customers. The nice lady told me that if the temperature is 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below, they do not turn off peoples electricity! She also said that the 15th of the month is regular billing due date, and the 26th is cutoff date when that comes into play. I have no problem helping people, but I have learned to do some research before making my donation.
