FYI-Please, it is still Monday, January 27, 2014, Seeing the horse drawn carriage a nostalgic staple of being in New York City is having to compete with the increased vehicles, primarily cars that now litter the landscaper of the vehicular movement in the borough of Manhattan as it used to be KNOWN as the CITY and the borough of Brooklyn was considered a separated city. Now, there are 5 boroughs that make up New York City and why isnt it proposed that the horse drawn carriage may only operate in the Central Park. Would this not be a better compromise and solving the issue that both side have regarding this Industry that is part of the New York City landscape. Freely Thinking, YET?
