FYI for all those who have boats still in the water, or just as a boat owner. Last summer when we had the boats inspected during our water safety weekend at SFC the inspector told us to be watchful of our boat battery as it sits where its visible behind our motor. Well Steve was going to move it because she had said fishermen had been known to steal batteries and put their crap old batteries in place. Well it happened. Ours was stolen sometime this week and replaced with an old, broken post battery. Just wanted to let everyone know. Costly lesson for us! Needless to say our battery will be moved now.
