FYI, last year on 07/30/2013 we replaced the smaller GEO Globe (which we had installed on 07/08/2012) with the bigger more accurate unique visitor count from a different provider Revolvermaps Globe. Obviously the count started at zero. Yesterday 08/30/2014 exactly 13 month later we tallied our 20,000th unique visit to our Tejano Tiempos Pasados Page on our website, tejanotiempospasados/tejano-tiempos-pasados.html The previous visitors from day one back in 01/01/2011 till 07/29/2013 would have been counted in on their next visit as of 07/30/2013 because the new globe would have recognized them as unique. Unique meaning that their IP address is recognized only once going forward (not duplicated) every visit after that is only recgnized and recorded as a hit. Our Wowza Server and Tunein device listeners are not included or recognized in these counts. They are tabulated through their own Server counts. Unfortunately the Tunein counts are not readily made available to us, CHIHUAHUA! but I am in the process and taking steps to rectify this for our benefit. The counts on our Mobile website m.tejanotiempospasados/ are counted separately as well since we dont have a globe on it. At first seeing numbers really didnt mean that much to me. As time went along though I found it surprisingly interesting to see that the Tejano music genre listeners / lovers were spread out all over the world and in larger numbers than we could ever imagine. There is a Globe on each one of our other pages as well and once you visit each one your IP is recognizeded as unique for that particular page.
