FYI... were screwed. BREAKING: Today, the Supreme Court doubled down on Citizens United. In a 5-to-4 ruling, the Roberts Court struck down some of the last remaining limits on how much wealthy donors can donate to electoral campaigns. With those limits gone, it will be even harder for everyday people to have their voices heard in Washington. The Government by the People Act would create a system of publicly-financed congressional campaigns that fits squarely within the Supreme Courts recent rulings. Congressional candidates who voluntarily opt to only accept donations $150 or below will have those donations matched 6 to 1.
