Fab feedback from our music team... We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to the many fantastic bands, musicians and speakers that we were privileged to work with during the fabulous Fleet Food Festival yesterday. It was such a busy day and everyone was in such good spirits that it seemed to fly by and run very smoothly - we had been a little apprehensive about fast changeovers between sessions / bands as so much had been arranged for the Festival..................but everyone was a joy to meet and work with. A big shout out to Jim, and his team, from All Events as well please for the beautiful tent and staging that he organised for the musicians. We will be recommending his Company whenever we can. So....... many, many thanks to the wonderful bands: Time Out Jazz Collective, Marcus, The Fury and The Law (who still need a name please !), Contempo Show Choir, Ed Allen Trio, and last but by no means least Key Lime Pi. All of the bands really enjoyed performing, and loved the atmosphere and support they received from everyone - they are all available for other events if you enjoyed them as much as we did, so dont be shy if you want to contact them directly, or via the Fleet Food Festival. And finally a MASSIVE well done to the organising Committee and Volunteers of the Fleet Food Festival - what an amazing idea you took the challenge to create, and then put into action so successfully. It never ceases to amaze us that a few community spirited people can come together, and give so much time and effort for no reward to themselves, except to see the wider community come out in their droves to enjoy their vision. Thank you for inviting us to be part of the day.
