Facebook Family and Friends please take a moment to read this very important post.This is Steven Toms. My 15 daughter Liana Sanford has been maintaining a long distance relationship with him for the past 7 months ,they spoke daily on the phone and through Facebook. The last time she saw him was Thanksgiving Break. About 2 weeks ago while I was with her for the weekend she broke up with him. Since their breakup he started to see anothers girl. My daughter is visiting the town now where he lived. She found out through Facebook about his accident. While swimming at his new girlfriends home in their families pond Steven had a seizure and was under water for a prolonged period of time! He ws brought back at the scene but suffered severe damage to his lungs and some other vital organs.He has been on life support in ICU ever since the incident last week! Today Steven lost the fight for his life. He hadnt had a seizure in over 2 years so no one would have anticipated this tragedy! Parents keep your children close and make sure you tell them how much you love them every time they leave your home, you never know when they might not come back! My daughter and this boy are only 15 .How do you convince your 15 year old daughter that its not her fault! She believes if she had not broken up with him the week prior that this would have happened,that he wouldnt have been swimming in that girls pond and would still be alive! Please keep this boys family and friends as well as mine in your prayers so that there be healing in her heart. Its very hard for me as her mother to not be able to be there and hold her to get her through this tragedy! I am afraid this will affect for the rest of her life!
