Facebook Messenger does NOT access any secure information like bank accounts or credit card accounts. It accesses information no more secure than the information that has been available in the good old fashioned White Pages or Yellow Pages for years and years. Big Data is a good thing. Youre giving up data but not privacy. Big Data is revelatory exploration of emerging trends. Its the newfound ability to gather and interpret vast amounts of information. Its messy and you have to give up exactitude that reigned supreme in the analog era but its focus on correlation rather than cause is supremely useful.
