According to Newsy, the school is requiring the family to pay $500 a month for an animal handler. The dog is used to warn others in the case of a seizure. It comes down to a matter of legal issues and contradicting laws. The family says the dog is necessary for their son and could save his life. The schools superintendent says , the child can be provided with an education with or without the service animal. So we want to hear your thoughts on this.
