Facebook asks whats on [my] mind. Like everyone else, Lou Reed it seems. My favorite album of his is his first solo lp he did after the Velvet Underground disbanded. Though right now Im thinking of Perfect Day from Transformer because I myself had an amazing day. Getting out and around is not easy for me. My Mandarin is nonexistent and Im crippled and in pain. But I hailed a cab to go to acupuncture this morning and found money on the ground -- exactly my cab fare. Then I dared to take another taxi out to one of the big malls where the Apple Store is... really FANCY mall (big designer names and watchmakers) and the store, which was huge, had 50 employees that I saw (I counted) and probably 200 customers. My old MacBooks back was coming off. They told me it would be about $135 to fix, I said fine, and went to eat lunch (that in itself was a trip, but worked out fine), returned an hour later and they handed me what looks like a brand new computer. I was worried about paying because I didnt have enough cash and they make you use PIN numbers with credit cards and I dont have PIN numbers.... and then they said, Therell be no charge! If there were clean air and Lou Reed were still alive, this would be a perfect day.
