Facebook-ers I first saw Let the Fire Burn by director Jason Osder at a screening in New York in May a few days after interviewing bomb survivor Ramona Africa. Few, including myself, left the theater with a dry eye. In 2011 I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Ramona for a class assignment for Professor Donna Dwyer on "police brutality". Although I was well versed on the May 13, 1985 disaster in Philly the meeting with Ms. Africa afforded me knowledge on the subject that no book ever could. On October 2nd, the film debuts in New York. I urge you all to make an effort to see this film. R.I.P. Michael Moses Ward (AKA Birdie Africa).
