Facebook eyes Samsung deal to boost mobile ad sales. WASHINGTON: With the growing mobility of internet, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussed potential partnership with Samsung president Shin Jong Kyun. According to Bloomberg report, the partnership would reportedly focus on advancing mobile advertising sales. As per a CNET report, Zuckerberg did meet with executives at Samsung but the social network is not providing details of what was discussed. Facebook has been strongly encouraging advertising on mobile. In April, Facebook Home had been launched by social networks. It is an Android-based family of mobile apps and a social-networking-focused skin.
