Facebook is great for connecting with old friends and staying in touch with family. Its also a good tool for promoting a business venture. But some people are seriously ignorant, thinking that there is an obligation for people to support your business. A nut job named Karen Sims sent me a request to like her business page. I guess I didnt move quickly enough, so she sent a second request with a snappy message: This is my second request. Before I could even look at her garbage, she sent another message threatening to unfriend me if I didnt like her page. Bye Felicia! I dont even know the freak and shes been languishing on my friends list without ever commenting or liking any of my business ventures. Its a two way street, but still without obligation. So, if you have a business venture, you can ask all of your Facebook friends to like it, but they have no obligation to do it. And, frankly, liking a page wont bring any guarantee of business anyway.
