Facebook was, at one point, a great place to catch up with people back home, post silly things, and yes, many many selfies. But lately Facebook has only been a source of stress and comparison. Yes, absolutely a reminder of how far I have come, but also a harsh look at what I am no closer to having at 30 than when I was 24. Through the Facebook filter its become easier to covet what other people have that just isnt on my life track right now...and while I necessarily dont want/not ready for those things yet, its hard not to compare. This site also makes it hard to let go of the things its time to let go of. I think a break from here is the best course of action for a bit while I become the happiest me for my own life and my own ups and downs. But...please before I go someone elope or have a surprise baby!
