Facing It No Draw Back There were many times while on our journey God had us face things we didnt want to face. He would tell us to do things that were hard on our flesh. Things that we rather avoid and not do. Things that were against protocol, against the norm, somethings not making any sense to us in the natural. Things seen from our sights or point of view hard and that we didnt want the confrontation that might come because of us doing or saying what He was requiring. We had a choice to make when facing these things, obey God or resist, disobey and rebel. We had to put aside all our natural thoughts fears and go with Gods instructions to us. We choose to fear God and not man. We had to get over how and what others thought of us. These things all were, if you really want to be honest with ourselves were all things dealing with our fears. I remember a word God gave before our journey started that all fear must go. We cant be good soldiers filled with fear, and we are warned not to fear man and what man can do to us, we were reminded time and time again while we moved along as God led not to have a draw back spirit in us. What do you fear or have a draw back spirit in you about, when it comes to facing and dealing and doing certain things that you have to do? God has had me face people and situations that I really in mine own strength and mind would rather not. I even prayed as Jesus prayed Father if this cup could pass from me, but when all was said and done I faced all that God required me to face, saying Your will be done, no matter what may come I choose to follow and obey You, Lord. Face everything God tells you to face and not put it off, ignore it, hide from it, or run from it. Doing these wont make them go away. Fear is torment and bondage. It feels so much better after you face these things head on. Do know that in everything we face that we never face anything alone, God has promised to be with us never forsaking us, and in all you do doing it under His direction and instruction you have His perfect wisdom and protection. He is sure to watch over you. The worst thing that could happen while you serve the Lord is dying. After dying in you are saved you go into the presence of The Lord. What better place is there then that? The greatest fear many have is the fear of dying, so once you face and conquer this fear no fear is left. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. -Psalms 56:11 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. -Proverbs 29:25 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. -Isaiah 50:7 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. -Ezekiel 3:9 Esther 4 10 Again Esther spake unto Hatach, and gave him commandment unto Mordecai; 11 All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days. 12 And they told to Mordecai Esther’s words. 13 Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews. 14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? 15 Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer, 16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. 17 So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him. Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead.
