Fact One Hundred and Forty Five: There seems to be a misconception on the interpretation of the traditional roles of a couple. At what point did being a wife or caring husband(partner, girlfriend, etc) change to mean that you were degrading yourself? Loving one another and wanting to care for each other is a natural role in any relationship. It does not make either less significant nor dependent. In a relationship (any) growing together should be something to aspire for. It doesn’t mean we are changing or being controlled but instead that we are learning and developing from a “you and I” to an “us”. It means plain and simply that love is present. It’s really that simple…. at least in my mind.
