Fact. did you know that the Fire that Mysteriously started up Country on Hualalai a couple of years ago... You know the one that gagged us all with smoke for Months. That fire Started on Paul Allens property purchased from Greenwell. And that the Hawaii County fire department fought it for several weeks to no avail and that we Saw the Headlines that We the People of the State of Hawaii will have to pay for that attempt to put it out with taxpayer Money to the tune of something like $750.000. Do you remember the Headlines?? Also did you know that the fire only burned to the boundry of this newly aquired land. Did you know that Paul Allen hired local people to extract Millions of Dollars of Sandlewood, a protected species and shipped it to China? Did you know the best way to harvest this rare wood is to burn the forest around it?? SO....why is it that the Taxpayers have to pay for a fire that was intentionally set and Millions of dollars of personal profit was gleaned from that fire?!! *spit
