Fact for today : A very well know Pastors father never truly believed in what his son preached or taught. He did not attend church, and though he loved and respected his son. His son found it hard to witness to his father. This continued for many years, and still his father did not come to Christ. The father became ill with a disease that left him very weak. One day the mother called her son and said If you want to see your father alive you had better come quickly. The son cancelled his speaking engagements to be with his father.After sitting with him for a while, beating himself up for not doing more with his father spiritually, his father in a very weak voice, motioned his son close to him. Both were in tears as the father said Tell My Story. The son said what would you have me to say father? The father simple said in a voice that could almost not be heard I WAS WRONG. He became honest and repentive. May we realize that being honest with God and ourself is a fact that we must deal with. This man came to himself and admitted it. O that we all could become honest about ourselves and cry out to God and others I was wrong, But Jesus made it right. God bless and love to all.
