Fact not Fiction Part 1 Before you cast that vote for the incumbent in Ogun State gubernatorial election next month, remember, another 4years is too long a period to endure pain and suffering! In case, you have been carried away by fiction, illusion, grand deceits and propaganda, these are facts so scary to wake up ur conscience and desire to build an Ogun State that is sincerely people oriented. Aside from security, the primary purpose of a government is to create jobs, then the question is this; how many jobs has the road and bridge construction created?, despite the huge spending of this government on such! (Well if the agenda is to make some people in Lagos State richer for whatever selfish interest-I believe it is mission accomplished already for the incumbent). If you look through this deeply, you would see one thing, the masses have been the biggest loser-no economic gain and yet still some did suffer property loss and are not even compensated up to 10% of their property value. Someone may want to say, but there is a social gain for the masses! No! Any social gain with no economic gain is a faulty policy, have you not wondered that social gain is always written most time thus; socio-economic gain. Now this is the fact; if you go through the major towns in the state, e.g Abeokuta, one fact you would observe is that parking fees is collected on roads like Lalubu Street in Oke-Ilewo e.t.c. the fees of course create IGR for this government and has paved the way also for job creation but wait a minute, is it this government that constructed the road, the answer is NO. The government of OGD did. What about the road constructed by this government! The answer is not too far fetched, those definetely are serving their purpose; objects of propangada and paycheck to their esteemed paymasters! Education, health, unemployment/poverty, sustainable development, other macroeconomic and microeconomic indices of this state in the last 3years 8months points to a declining edge... ... to be continued Ogun Youth Coalition - OYC
