Facts, evidence, truth be damned! When any story, even one that is to a great degree false, gets repeated on a constant basis, many otherwise intelligent people come to accept fiction as fact. Old wives tales, urban legends, humans primarily responsible for global warming. Adam And Eve, Noahs Arc etc. Computer models are based upon unproven and often incorrect or incomplete data to project what may happen based upon the data. Data is not proof. Computers are not magic crystal balls able to predict the future. The true fact about data input, when you put garbage in you get garbage out. Nonsense in equals nonsense out. The preconceived beliefs of the person who chooses relevant data, will affect a computer models output. There are many fools in positions of power that are betting your future and theirs on a belief in fairy tales and crystal ball like pseudo scientific technology which has been influenced by the bias of indoctrinated individuals.
