Fail driver fails at multi-tasking. The constructive way of solving the problem is to teach people the proper way of driving and texting, instead of scaring them into submission altogether. People only crash because they forgot about the traffic when texting. Just make sure you remember that your priority is always the traffic, and texting is just a secondary task that should not interfere with your driving. Peripheral vision and knowing where all the cars are around you inside your head are important requirements to multi-task properly while driving. All these laws and peoples worry come from the fact that lots of people fail at multi-tasking. Moral of the story: dont crash and youll be fine. The more times you fail, the more laws will be upon you, and the more of this kind of commercials to get you to buy their stuff.
