Failure: This 140kg bench attempt was the week before hitting it properly. I think pushing to ultimate failure is a great technique to use in order to push your muscles to the absolute maximum. A combination of different training techniques while maintaining good form along side a good calculated diet is the key to building muscle. Its not a hard thing to comprehend and implement, it just takes time and consistency.
