Fair week brings with it a myriad of emotions......pride for the kids of our county and for the the accomplishments of my own children, fun memories of my own 4-H days, and joy in being a volunteer and seeing hard work pay off. It also brings memories of two young men that my kids and I had the pleasure and privilege to have known through rabbit shows. DJ and Ben, we were at our own fair when we got the devastating news of the accident while your own county fair was going on. I worry so much about your mom and dad and sister. Their heartache tears me apart and I wish I could somehow ease their burden. I know you both are so proud of the new rabbit barn at your fairgrounds that was built in your honor! Friends, please join me in prayer for Lynda Swan and her husband Dale and daughter Jessica. This has got to be the most emotional week for them. Your boys are missed and were so loved! We will never forget them! ♡♡♡
