Fairness and justice would seem to require a complete informed consent for either choice. It should still be a choice and a better informed consumer of health care services would benefit all. The opinion did not address costs nor the greater impact on the poor of these statutes. The wealthy will continue to do what ever they want by traveling to a spa clinic. The middle class may need to seek care in another state, but the poor do not have those options. Just another sign of class warfare.
