Faith Week Day 6: Full Circle by Aerosmith Todays song has been a favorite song of mine for quite some time. Its not lyrically the best song ever written, nor is it too fancy. It just fits in life. Ive always liked the tune, and the theme. A song about remembrance. Time, dont let it slip away, Raise your drinking glass, Heres to yesterday, Time, were all gonna trip away, Dont piss heaven off, Weve got hell to pay This entry isnt going to get too great into detail, because honestly the song speaks for itself. We move through life, and every day we make memories. Good time, and bad. We lose those we love, and make new friends. Every once in a while its good to reflect on what weve done, where weve been, and where were going. Raise our glasses and give a toast to the people whove left this world behind. In about forty-five minutes, my sister will turn thirty-five years old. And if youve paid attention at all this week, youll know that she wont be here to celebrate with us, but that doesnt mean that we wont be celebrating in our hearts for her. I love you, Faith. More than words can say. And I miss you more than any song, poem, analogy, metaphor, or any other literary device could possibly convey. Im sad that youve gone from this world, but getting to do things like this in your memory makes the pain of losing you a little less heavy. Go ahead and get your party started up there, and dont forget your birthday hat! Ill see you tomorrow, sis.
