Faith acknowledges the existence of what cannot be naturally - TopicsExpress

Faith acknowledges the existence of what cannot be naturally perceived. The fundamental life-source of every human is of an essence that is indiscernible to our natural faculties. The essence of every human life is actually spiritual, but since we are not spiritually aware we walk around for the most part clueless, in regard to what we actually are. This is why 1Corinthians 2:11 says For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him?.... Our spirit knows things about us that we are not aware of in a cognizant sense. The problem is, we dont know much about our spirit; or, about ourselves, since we have lost contact with the origin of our existence. To unravel some understanding of who & what we actually are, weve got to begin to muddle through our own spiritual amnesia. The worst thing about being born into this world is sin. The next thing is being born with severe spiritual amnesia. As our natural earth life develops, our cognizance regarding who we are as a spirit being diminishes. Our natural sensitivities drown out our remembrance of our spirit mans existence, until we lose all recollection that our origin is actually spiritual. The Word of God & the Spirit of God are here to help you muddle through all the layers of your natural existence which blocks your view of the real you. We are actually a spirit being first; encased in a body of earth. The body was prepared for the human spirit to dwell in during its stay on earth. We are not primarily a body of earth that happens to have a spirit living inside of it. Once the body wears out, the spirit has no habitable dwelling place so that it can continue to correspond with the things of earth. The problem is, most of us are not even spiritually aware enough for our spirit to correspond with the things of earth while we are here. The Apostle Paul learned to live out of his spirit which was born of God. He said... For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit... (Romans 1:9). I want to learn, as the Apostle Paul did, to live out of my spirit which is born from above, & is therefore superior to everything in this earth realm. Its not a difficult or burdensome thing to serve God from the standpoint of who we are spiritually if our spirit has received Gods divine nature through the new birth. ...his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world... (1John 5:3-4). God is spirit (John 4:24) & that which is born of spirit IS spirit (John 3:6). Our spirit is that part of us thats been born of God, if therefore well learn to live out of our spirit, we can walk in the world overcoming life of The Son of God.
