Faith and emotion are quite often at odds with one another. Faith is knowing something is true - because the word of God tells you its true - even when your emotions say otherwise (see 2 Cor. 5:7; Heb. 11:1; Rom. 10:17). For instance, faith is knowing God loves you, even when you feel unloved. Or, on the other hand, faith is knowing you should walk away from sin, even when you feel like giving in. Dont follow your heart. Walk by faith.
