Faith is perhaps one of the more misunderstood concepts in modern Christianity. For many it simply means to pray and believe God to do something in your life. While it is true that God is the one performing the work and that there are times in which our act of fact requires waiting upon the Lord... I find this most common when He is doing a work of preparation in relationships and ministries/vocational changes... However, for the most part, we need to heed the words of James as he said, in James 2:17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Let us DEMONSTRATE our FAITH by our Actions, not in presumption by presuming the will of Go concerning a manner but by moving forth in the calling God has upon our own lives.
