Faith update: Big day today - a long and difficult surgery. Thanks to my vet Dr. Trevor Jackson for the help. It is a good news and bad news situation. One leg was less damaged than the other, that surgery was pretty smooth. My other leg is more of a problem. There is a great deal of muscle damage. I need the muscle to stabilize the joint, without it there is risk the leg wont heal and be functional. Only time will tell, fortunately I am very young and that gives me a greater chance. There is also a lot of road rash and that is very painful, but I am in a great place with lots of love and care and pain medicine. SCARS would like to thank Westlock Veterinary Centre, once again, for their compassion and care of needy rescues like me. Thank you to everyone how has been donating towards my care.
