Faithful in a Few Things: God will not put more on us then we can handle or endure. Some people work really hard in the ministry, and some cases stretched too thin. Remember God said to be faithful about a FEW things. Trying to: usher, children church, praise team, hospitality, finance committee, single-parent ministry etc…may cause “BURN OUT.” Second scenario: Maybe you are working on the parking-cars ministry, child care or janitorial work and feel like your work is not important. What if you went to the bath-room at church and found that there were no toilet paper or paper towels, than custodian worker’s job would be important. Seeking to please God in little matters is a test of real devotion and love. Let your aim be to please our dear Lord perfectly in little things. Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things... Matthew 25:23 Its not the amount of our work thats important, or the status of it, or the notoriety of it. Its the faithfulness with which we do exactly what He has assigned us. Our lives and labors call for perseverance, persistence, patience, and prayer.
