Faithfulness is God’s requirement and fruitfulness is His - TopicsExpress

Faithfulness is God’s requirement and fruitfulness is His reward. We are human and this body and mind are weak and sometimes we experience spiritual fatigue. It is real easy to feel like you just want to throw in the towel when there seems to be no end to the needs of others that you have prayed for and your efforts appear to make little or no difference. You can arrive at a state of mind where you think your prayer is just a drop in the bucket and what is the use. You may even utter the words, “I quit!” Spiritual fatigue can poison your attitude in many situations at home, on the job/school or at church. The medicine for this particular fatigue is found in Galatians 6:9-10, “And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Don’t throw in the towel when you are facing a situation that seems hopeless. Your Lord has promised that the seeds of prayer you have sown and the good deeds you do will yield results in His time.
