Fake police continues to rob expats Police are looking for two persons for impersonating police and stealing KD 3,000 from an Indian.A security source said the Indian was walking along a street in Sabah Al-Nasser and the two men claimed they were police. They ordered him to show his identification papers, ordered him to get into their vehicle and drove him to a remote area. Then they ordered him to give away his ATM card secret number and when he refused, they threatened to kill him.The Indian added the two suspects then tied him up, one stood guard and the other left and purchased stuff worth KD 2,000 and withdrew from the account KD 1,000.In a similar story, when an Indian was walking along a road in Fahaheel, four African men robbed KD 170 from him. The armed men with knives attacked him and as he shouted for help, passersby managed to arrest one of the men. In a few minutes four other men came riding in a car and set free the man. The suspects were arrested after one of the suspects dropped his wallet containing KD 32 and his identification papers.In yet another identical incident, Arab times daily reported that a Pakistani man has filed a complaint with the Roudah Police Station accusing a person of impersonating police, driving him to the parking lot of the Psychology Medicine Hospital and stealing KD 320.
