Falcons u18 0 - Waterhead alrfc 74 Falcons u18 entered into the rugby league unknown as they took on waterhead arlfc from Oldham, a side who have produced some league legends over the years in the BARLA national youth cup 1st round. The nwc div 1 outfit with a host of acadamey standard players in their 17 showed their strength up front with a massive pack display & the skill set of the backs ran tries creating a cutting overlap at times . Although a gulf in class was evident Falcons suffered injuries to 3 key players playing out later stages with a bare 13. Though the lads came away with their heads held high and competed from start to finish against a top team with only limited preperation time.
