Fall into Winter. Of old the the tales they have been told Of ice and snow and bitter cold But before all is covered in snow white Samhain comes and Halloweens night Begins the time of nights longer, dark and deep But do be careful not all things sleep Beings there be in the stillness of nightfall That have no place in the waking world at all So be wise as you travel beware the in between You know not what you may meet on Halloween If you heart is true and your deeds are right Perhaps you will be spared the fright Shorter days and longer nights May they find you in loving arms held tight. So as you cuddle up by the fire light Have yourself a very good night, a great start to a blessed life
