Fall is my favorite time of the year. Theres nothing much more peaceful than cooler weather and bright night skies. I can rejoice through a cloudy day, but let my nights be cool and moonlit. Rich Mullins song, Step by Step, begins with the night sky. How Great Thou Art begins with creation itself. Some of our youth got a glimpse of that beauty at the Walls of Jericho yesterday. Songs are sometimes much better when sung from the depths of the heart, rather than how they were written. The link version of this song relates to the wonder of Gods creation, as it begins slow, as in honor of God, then erupts with passion. As I listen, it reminds me of a newborn Christian coming to God in praise and wonder of His Grace, but once that settles in, breaks out in rejoicing for all to bear witness ... O Lord my God!
