False professions are real. People make them all the time. Just because someone said they got saved, just because they walked the isle or said a prayer, just because they got baptized, does not make a person saved. If someone. Satan deceives many into believing they are saved but the bible says in Matthew 7:14 (KJV)14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. If someone you know and love that may have made a false profession realizes they were lost and deceived no matter the years they were deceived, give praises when they make it real, dont question the fact that they made a profession before. After all isnt the important thing that it is real no matter how many false professions have been made in their past. After all you dont want them to hear this come judgement day Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
