Fam, My Though for Today: Is My Assessment Fair? Part 1 I was watching the an exchange between Bill OReilly and Tavis Smiley regarding the killing of Eric Garner by the Chockhold Cop, Daniel Pantaleo. Bill frames the story for his viewer and asked Tavis CONFIDENTLY: Is My Assessment Fair? Fam, at that precise moment allow me to replace Brother Smiley ...HELL TO DA NAW!!!! I can hear and see Bill at that precise moment, Dr. Mack, Im trying to be both TRANSPARENT & FAIR here, not to mention civil...(then he would look at his audience, via the camera, as if to say WITHOUT SAYING A WORD, here comes the Angry, non-logical Black Man). And I would look at his audience, via the camera, as if to say WITHOUT SAYING A WORD, You Damn Skippy Im COMING! Slipping into I.B. Mode (Intellectual Barbarian), I would reply, in a very CALM voice, Bill, the reason, your assessment is not fair is because you just tainted the viewing audience. He would then reply, with a that earlier look I described, Dr. Mack, please tell US why. I respond, still VERY very calm, See Bill, in framing the story for your audience, you sympathetically demonized Eric Garner, and deified (to make Godly, express in pure terms; to adore) Daniel Pantaleo. Bill, would then become a bit irritated, and reply, Carl, (no more Dr.) I did NO such thing! Thats absurd! Calmly, I would reply, To the the ill informed about this case Bill your assessment appears fair. However, what you PURPOSELY chose NOT to tell your audience is the following, about the cop that killed Eric Garner. You PURPOSELY CHOSE NOT to tell your audience that Daniel Pantaleo, at the very moment he was chocking the life out of Eric Garner, had T W O (2) Civil suits against him. One of them settled already, which cost the citizens of New York at least $30,000 (Thought of The Day: Everybody Pays). The first suit, which was settled in January, accuses Pantaleo and another officer of strip-searching two men on a New Brighton street, pulling down their pants and underwear in broad daylight, in March 2012. Pantaleo then took the two men to the 120th Precinct stationhouse, where Pantaleo and Torres strip-searched them again, forcing them to remove all of their clothing, squat, cough and lift their genitals. The second lawsuit against Pantaleo which is still open - filed by Rylawn Walker in Manhattan federal court this past February. Walker accuses Pantaleo of arresting him on Feb. 16, 2012 even though he was committing no crime at that time and was not acting in a suspicious manner. The lawsuit doesnt specify the circumstances of the arrest, but alleges that Pantaleo misrepresented facts in the police reports and other documents that the plaintiff had committed offenses when in fact this was not true. At this point, I would CALMLY look at Bill and say, So, Bill, that is why Your Assessment Is NOT Fair. I would peacefully look at the camera, to all of you, as if to say WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.....HELL TO DA YEA & Now Im up out dis B....!!!! m.youtube/watch?v=4f9uCidkzzw Sent from my iPad
